Place the laulau on the inverted oven proof dish. Bring the water to a boil and then lower to a simmer. Steam for 4 hours, checking the water level making sure the pot doesn’t go dry. Remove and serve.
Steam the lau laus until done. If the lau lau is thawed, this should take about 30 minutes.
Put the wrapped lau lau in a steamer. Steam for three to four hours till nice and tender. Remove the ti leaf (you can’t eat the ti leaf), and serve!
